Our Story
We met on the Internet in 2001 on a community-based blog for Knoxvillians. Jared had planned a party at his house and invited me to it after we had communicated online and by phone for a few weeks.
Not long after meeting, we began dating officially on December 20, 2001. The following summer we moved in together and lived in Knoxville for the next three years. We moved to Gainesville, Florida in November 2005 for me to attend law school. Jared landed a really great job at Shands Hospital and I began my studies.
We live with our 2 kitties in a very small apartment right now. Buying a home is at the top of our "Accomplishments" list; however we definitely do not want to settle in Gainesville.
Almost 5 years have passed. We've moved around, changed jobs. Our relationship has matured some and we know we are a great match. We are extremely close and often nearly read each other's mind. Regardless of what the future holds, we know this is the right decision at the right time for us.
